Once you’ve got your edible garden concept design it’s time to start getting detailed. The next step is to start measuring up and getting technical with what works for your site in terms of size, regulation and environment.
The Process
- Everything in Edible Garden Inspiration Package, plus;
- Site visit to measure and notate unique location characteristics, to create a detailed base map for the garden.
- Create a detailed summary of product/supplier solutions, such as compost bins, worm farms, wicking bed, etc, that work on your site and fit the character of your garden.
- Create a detailed outline of recommended botanicals for each zone, bespoke to you and your lifestyle.
- Calculate and discuss water usage needs of the garden, as well as storage and irrigation solutions.
- We package it all up in an Edible Garden Design document that you can keep on hand for future reference or share with others to help bring it to life.
